It's been a long time since we've all been together. Hopefully the next time will be soon...cuz it'll be CULTURE SHOW DAY! Saturday april 15th at NOON! the show is at noon because we had 4 culture shows wanting zellerbach and they only offered us two saturdays and the only sunday offered was easter sunday, so that's not gonna work.

This year's title is "Viet Nam Ten Goi"
don't ask about it, just think about what it could mean, it's kinda nebulous, but that's good, it'll all be revealed during the show.

Chao! may anh chi va em....wait..are there any ems to me? am I the youngest? anyways...i don't feel it!! I was club 1015 in the city right now i just got back on a taxi with my cousin! we had soo much fun! dang DJ VAN DYKE was there...he's like..from BELGIUM or something he's like..#1 DJ for Rave/Techno/House! in the WORLD! (Tickets were hella expensive though -_- )It was super kickin off the hoook...i'm just trying to calm down right now...I'm so excited and I wish you all could've been there too! bUT i know ya'll had a blast partying it up too! =)

Next time how about we do a like.....TET thingy? we can make VIETNAMESE food this time and bring it! =) and take pictures in AO DAIs or something...except i don't have one... I dunno i'm sure the V-unit house will be up to hosting SOMETHING or other.... they always make us come there because there's so many memories therE! I'm glad though...okay i think i'm typing too much...this is getting long and wordy. Neu chu qUA! Bay gio huan can di ngu! Ngu NGON cac ban!~ ...Nam nay moi, nhung ban be cua minh, long yeu thuong cua minh se khong bao gio doi! (Okay if you didn't understand that that means "it's a new year, but our friendship, our warm feelings for eachother will NEVER change!"

a fond hello from a M.I.A.

Hi guys.. it was so nice to see your faces in one place! Sorry I haven't been able to make the other get-togethers and been out of touch..but I'm going to be around much more! Like our good man Jason, I will doing a service project this Break. Going down to SD to a Native American reservation to do nutrition awareness, higher education outreach, and optometry care. I'll be living on-site, observing and doing --super excited!

sup foos. long time no chat, eh? haha...i just wanted to let all of you guys know that i'll be in bay area from thurs til tues...probably. i still haven't figured out my flights yet, but i'm pretty sure those'll be the days i'll be in. i'm traveling up there to get a few recommendation letters from professors and to sign up for that letter service, and of course, to see all of my lovely friends that i oh so miss dearly. so yes, call me...or IM me and if you don't have my sn or number, then ask frank or francis or tan or anyone else. let's party. or at least eat a sandwich with me or something :) haha...alrightie guys...take care.

returning to the homeland

I know most of you are in New York right now having a blast. I just finished watching the culture show DVD with some of my cousins in San Francisco. It brought back a lot of memories. You guys looked great on TV. It's crazy cause I'm about to leave for Vietnam in a few hours. We spent a year working on a show about Vietnamese people in America and over the summer a few of us went to Vietnam. Seeing the show again made me realize even more that it wasn't just the end product that was important, but the journey that we all took with each other. I guess I'm just feeling nostalgic.

I'll be in the homeland in less than 24 hours.
